October 18–19. Frame Loom and Collective Loom Workshop led by Giuliana Rais

Weaving is an ancient art, made of patient gestures and harmonious rhythms, that transforms simple threads into unique and personal fabrics. In this workshop, participants will discover frame loom weaving, an accessible and versatile technique, perfect for those who wish to approach the world of textile weaving.
We will start from the basics: learning how to set up the warp, choose the yarns, and experiment with different weaves to create textures and plays of color. Each participant will be able to create a small decorative tapestry, personalizing their work with natural materials, recycled yarns, or creative details. Weaving on a frame loom is an activity that encourages slowness and focus, offering a moment of relaxation and creativity.
No prior knowledge is required—just the desire to experiment with your hands and follow the rhythm of weaving. It’s a chance to discover the charm of textile craftsmanship, learn an ancient skill, and create something unique with your own hands.
